The idea of this project was to investigate in detail the current design of coffee makers, find problems and introduce a new design which would be much more efficient, sustainable and "green".

My aim was to reduce the number and variety of used materials, use recycled or recyclable materials and decrease their whole amount. The very important issue was also an easy and quick disassembly of the appliance and it´s separation to basic components and materials.

The main problem of the common coffee makers is however

a high energy consumption. Therefore I concerned with the efficiency of this appliance, I tried to reduce energy losses and lower the overall energy consumption.
