This device is in fact only a simple radio receiver. Its main target is to inform a deaf user in case of emergency warning or other serious situation. The basic way of communication is a heavy vibration which is one of the most efficient and reliable systems. Moreover this is supplemented by an audible alarm and light signals. I was inspired by the organic shape of an egg and its simple colour. The device which is carried every day should have pleasant shape without sharp edges; it should be simple and unobtrusive. This device is controlled only by one “smart” button. Instead of display it communicates by light signals which is quicker and more reliable. The “egg” is supported by the charging cradle which contains backup battery. The cradle is intended for setting the personal device and it also offers the function of an alarm clock or a timer.
