The main impulse for being engaged in this project was unsatisfactory and sometimes almost catastrophic state of this kind of vessel in the Czech Republic. The fibreglass hull is constructed with reference to speed and stability requirements and also mechanical resistance against collisions and water pressure.

A part of the pram is also an easy removable fibreglass water braker, preventing water from penetration into the ship. Another new element I dealt with are benches which are placed at an oblique angle – because of the narrow width of the hull. The benches are ergonomically shaped for both sitting and race paddling in half-kneel.
